Spirit Photography - Elijah Craig

If I'm being honest here, I can't tell if I enjoyed photographing this bottle of Elijah Craig more than I enjoyed the pour afterwards...

Elijah Craig has been a long go-to of mine when it comes to easy, bourbon drinking. For whatever reason, after purchasing this bottle one day, I set it in the studio where it ended up sitting for some quite time. I guess I had some ambition of photographing it at one point but never seemed to get around to it. Then one day, this just kind of happened. A completely organic shoot that didn't really stem from any sort of plans or thoughts, I was just going with each idea as they came and this was the result. Pretty gratifying if I do say so myself.

So I guess I can say that I enjoyed both the process and the pour, equally 🥃 😎
