When I first started out in food photography, I distinctly remember cookies being my number one subject to photograph. Not only because they are my go to sweet treat but they also contain all of the key aspects that I look for in my food photography; texture, color, appeal, and diversity. And Cookies & Dreams has that. They have been pushing the limits and changing the definition of what a cookie is. Their cookies have the appeal that fits in perfectly with todays social climate, through their vibrant pops of color and their wide range of unsuspecting flavors, they have been transformed into a brand new thing.

I am excited by all of the amazing business’s and individuals who are creating incredible food around the midwest. Cookies & Dreams is a great example of what excites me about the creativity that is happen in the midwest and the direction that things are going for all of us foodies!
